Reiki can be used as a safe, gentle, non-intrusive, hands-on healing technique. It enforces well-being in a perfect, holistic way, which includes all aspects of the human experience.
 
Once you are attuned, that means that your Reiki channel has been opened, Reiki will flow out of your hands, whenever you intend it. This ability will never fade and will stay with you forever. Each additional attunement will increase the amount of energy flow. With the touch of your hands, you are able to submit the energy to yourself and to others. It is literally like having a first-aid-kid ready. Whenever you need it, you can use it. It is simple and powerful!
 
How does Reiki work?
Reiki is an effortless, yet exceptional way of submitting energy and differs from other methods in the way, that the energy will have a beneficial effect on both sides, for the energy-giver, as well as for the energy-taker! It is beautiful; the more you give, the more you will receive. With Reiki you are always channeling the highest quality of energy, which is not personal but universal. There is no preparation needed: the moment you have the intention to give, the energy will flow. You can feel this and so can the ones you are treating.  
Just reading a book about Reiki will not enable you to the whole power of it. The attunement is crucial, especially if you want to give Reiki to others. I don’t deny that there are some other meditation techniques which will also connect you successfully with the source, but you will need a certain level of consciousness beforehand. Reiki is so much easier: the attunement will give you an immediate access to the universal energy without an effort on your part! It is almost too good to be true☺!  
 
Who can learn Reiki?
Everybody can learn Reiki; even children can be introduced to it. No previous knowledge is required. There is not much of studying involved at all; it is more about practicing and living it!  
 
The different Reiki levels:

Not all Reiki Masters/Teachers teach in the same way, some split the courses into more levels than others, some teach additional symbols, some prefer group-teaching, others prefer one-to-one-teaching etc.  
I teach Reiki in three levels: Reiki I, Reiki II and Reiki III, after that, there are two additional courses available, one called “alpha training” and finally there is the Reiki Teacher Course.  

It is completely up to the students how far she or he would like to take it. A lifetime is not long enough to explore all about Reiki I! But some students feel the urge to take the fast track and will continue with level II and so on.
I mainly prefer one-to-one-teaching, but group teachings can be discussed. The reason behind this is that I view Reiki as a personal growth process, where you want the main focus on yourself to make out the most of it.  
 
Reiki I Basic Course – 4 hours
This level is the first step to get started with Reiki. It includes the first attunement which will give an immediate access to the universal energy. By the end of the course you’ll know how to treat yourself and others; you will be familiar with the different hand positions and varieties of treatments. You will know about further possible applications, such as treating animals and plants or energizing water and food. Dowsing without pendulum by tuning into the body is another topic of this course. 
 
Reiki II Advanced Course – 7 hours
This course includes a second attunement which will again increase the flow of energy enormously. The access to three Reiki symbols will be given which will widen the horizon of your possibilities and experiences. You will learn how to treat one or more persons from distance. You will be able to program flights, journeys, exams and other situations for the best possible outcome. Clearing houses and places of old stagnant or even fearful energies is another possible application and there are many mores. The attendance of Reiki II enables to work as a Reiki practitioner.
 
Reiki III Master Course – 9 hours
This level will provide the final attunement and the access to the master symbol. There’s again great increase of energy flow and the student will undergo a guided process which will expand consciousness. Realization and healing are naturally happening. Reiki Regression will be experienced and taught.
 
Alpha Training Course -  40 hours – weekly training for one year
This course is based upon the teachings of Dr. Mikao Usui. This training has been developed to strengthen and train the right side of the brain (alpha-waves), which will allow you to unwind and relax within seconds. It includes a series of guided meditations under the support of Reiki. Blockades can be removed and spiritual development (such as inner-hearing, inner-knowing, clairvoyance) will be activated. After the attendance of this course Reiki masters become certified Alpha-trainers.  
 
Reiki teacher-Course - 9 hours
This is the final course and will enable you to attune students to Reiki. All the knowledge will be passed on.
