An Ancient Healing Technique

 

Reiki translates as universal life force energy (rei=universal and ki=energy) which pervades everything. It is the very stuff that we call life.
The Usui-System of Reiki is a simple but very powerful technique to enhance overall well-being by consciously plug into this infinite energy field and channel it through the hands and heart. Clients often report that they sense a warm or cold tingling sensation, accompanied by a very nice, relaxing feeling which is quite hard to describe. One could say: it is like being embraced by love.

Reiki can be beneficial for all sorts of illnesses as it activates and supports the self-healing capacities of body and mind and therefore works very well alongside all medical treatments. It’s like taking a vacation from the daily routines and breaking free to simply be - without worries.

Clients lie down on a massage table, fully dressed and covered with a soft blanket. Relaxing music is playing in the background, candles are lit. The Reiki practitioner places her hands on the body or a little above it and the energy is flowing immediately. A Reiki treatment goes on for about an hour. At the beginning there is usually the option of an Angel Card-Reading.
